The minimum qualifications for the position of Google Product Manager include having: Bachelor’s degree or any related practical experience; you should have nothing less than 4 years of experience in building strategic product roadmap(s) from conception to launch; involvement in working with cross-functional teams;
Including experience with driving the product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions as well as experience with developing internet products and technologies for the aim of defining technical product features.
Google Product Manager Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree within a technical field or a vast technological understanding.
- Proven background in managing daily technical and design direction.
- Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as Product Management, UX/UI, Engineering, Sales, Customer Support, Marketing or Finance.
- Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority.
- Solid written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to be able to absorb technical concepts within quick timing and accurately communicate them to a non-technical audience.
- Strong analytical ability, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
