Eligibility Criteria
This Scholarship is awarded to attract new international students of high calibre to enrol in undergraduate and postgraduate taught study of one year or more at the University.
Students must be currently enrolled or have an unconditional offer of admission to a Bachelors or Master’s course program at the University of Auckland. Applicants are assessed on the basis of their academic merit, the quality of their letter of application and endorsement by their referee.
The University of Auckland International Student Excellence Scholarship is available to full-fee paying international students. Scholarship applications open around six weeks before the closing date and are evaluated by a Selection Committee on the recommendation of the University Council.
Requirements for Applicants
The Scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic merit, quality of the letter of application and endorsement by the applicant’s referee. The selection committee reserves the right not to make an award in any year if no applicant is of sufficient merit.
