  1. Carry out a variety of routine clerical duties which include typing, record keeping and answering phones.
  2. Prepare correspondence and process various documents which may include schedules, work orders, invoices, purchase orders, timesheets, reports or revenue for deposit.
  3. Operate equipment in the department when required.
  4. Travel to post office for mail and money orders.
  5. Perform other duties when assigned to do so.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • You are expected to have knowledge of North Slope Borough organization, its mode of operations, policies, as well as procedures.
  • Should have sound skill in the use of personal computers and a variety of software applications.

Education, Experience, Certifications, and Required Licenses:

  1. G.E.D or High school graduate or, a combination of 12 years of education and relevant work experience.
  2. Inupiat Speaking (ONLY at A&F Tax Audit/Assessing Division)
  3. The ability to be able to successfully scale through FBI fingerprint background check within 60 days of your employment. (Police only)
